Piercing Faith Church is a Christ (Messiah) centered fellowship of believers and seekers. As such we believe that the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original manuscripts and contains the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of humanity and is the divine and final authority and source for all things pertaining to doctrine, faith and the navigation of everyday life.
Accordingly, the leadership and many dedicated volunteers are committed to an application and interpretation of scriptures in alignment with the teachings of Jesus (Yeshua) and the Apostles whom he taught and empowered to teach forward by faith. We believe that whatever we do in word or deed should all be done in the name of the Lord Jesus (Col. 2:17).
God- There is one God; Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing, and through the scriptures has provided for us a tri-part revelation of His being: Father, Son (Word),
and Holy Spirit.
Man- The first man was created in the image of God (tri-part being) but fell into sin and became powerless to redeem himself and is therefore lost apart from the redemptive work of
Jesus Christ (blood) and regeneration power of the Holy Spirit (Ghost).
Jesus (Yeshua) Christ - The only begotten Son of God (true God and true man); was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate, and is the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. No one can come to the Father except through Him.
The Holy Ghost - The ministry of the Holy Ghost during this age is: to glorify the Lord Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
Salvation - Is a process whereby we are saved by grace through faith based upon the reconciling work (shed blood of Jesus) of Christ. His resurrection provides the only grounds for justification and salvation for all who believe. Only such as receive Jesus (Yeshua) Christ by faith and are born of water and Spirit become the children of God.
Baptism- Water baptism by immersion soon after repentance for the remission of sins is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection into a new life, and publicly identifies the believer with the atoning work of Jesus through his name. (Mt. 28:19, Luke 24:47; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-6)
The Church - The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus (Yeshua), have been baptized into Christ, regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the head.
The Return of Jesus Christ - The personal, pre-millenial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ (descending in the same manner as he ascended) is the hope of those who are in communion with Him and should have a vital impact on the personal life and service of the believer. (Acts 1:9-11; Luke 24:50-51)
Up-gathering of the church- Pre or early tribulation rise of the saints to meet Messiah in the air is the hope of those who are in communion with Him; and should have a vital impact on the personal life and service of the saints. (1 Thess. 4:15-18)
Communion - The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus (Yeshua) Christ as the Passover lamb until He returns. All true believers and only believers should partake.
Healing & Deliverance - It is God’s will to heal and deliver in this age. It is a benefit that flows from grace and truth (Jesus).
Future Events - There will be a boldly resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
